- In the United States of America, between every 100 people there are 88.8 legally owned guns by those people, which is about 270,000,000 legally owned firearms in total.
- This is the highest number in the world.
- This, as many people including myself believe stems from our forefathers and the creation of the American Bill of Rights which, states in the second amendment. " A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed." Times have changed since then however, the idea of the amendment still is meaningful to many Americans.

That is very interesting that there are that many people who own guns in the US. I have no doubt that, that is the highest number in the world with how violent our country is.

ReplyDeleteThis information is very eye opening and alot of this stuff i didnt know about before reading this. I believe that people should be able to keep guns a s a sense of protection but there should be background checks on people to make sure that its not in the wrong hands. Overall good info and great blog!
